One of the world's most captivating adventures now comes to Maharashtra. If your quest for adventure is unending, give yourself an option of White Water Rafting at Kundalika just 2 hrs drive from Pune and Mumbai. Rafting doesn't get more exciting than this, hurtling down a pumping river in an inflatable raft, negotiating the drops, turns and chutes and punching through the sheets of water crashing aboard, its 100% pure aquafun. An adventure sport so safe that even non-swimmers are welcome.

Kundalika River flows fully during the rainy season as it is one of Also during the dry seaso
Kundalika is a small, relatively unknown yet extremely beautiful river of Maharashtra. It is located in Sahyadris in Maharashtra's highest rainfall areas. This along with the fact that the river is fed by excess water from series of hydroelectric projects and dams, most important being, Tata Power's Mulshi Dam Project, makes it ideally suited for rafting. A river stretch of 10 kms, beginning at village Saje  has been found to be exciting yet safe for River Rafting. For last few years adventure lovers from Mumbai and Pune have come to Kundalika Rafting to enjoy the experience that previously could be had atleast 8-10 hours from Pune and Mumbai.
Some small and nice Resorts have now come up near Kundalika where the adventure lovers come with family, friends or as a corporate group. Its location, being close to Mumbai and Pune makes it an ideal weekend / short getaway for “city-zens” perpetually short on time. Cozy stay, sumptuous food and bounty of nature make the stay here a pleasant one. A holiday here is a pleasant and memorable experience.
About the Rafting Programme
Distance - 10 km on the water.
Rapids - 10 ranging from Grade 2 to Grade 3.

Rafting Duration : 1 hour 45 minutes (approximately)

VERY IMPORTANT
Rafting schedule depends solely on water release by the Dam (Govt.) authorities. Water level then rises making Rafting possible. The time of water release is generally at 0815 hrs. There could be a delay in release of water, in which case your Rafting session is delayed.
There have been rare cases when the Govt. officials have not released water (typically 5 such instances in 365 days). Since Rafting activity cannot be conducted under these circumstances, the charges collected for Rafting only will be completely refunded.
It is not possible for us to refund the charges collected for Transport, Food, Accommodation or any other adventure activity, under any circumstances.
